Winner will receive one Civil War Token of the design shown in the photos. These are about the size of a cent.

During the Civil War, the U.S. Mint did not have the resources to mint cents, as copper was shifted to make war materials. Merchants and private citizens minted these types of coins as substitutes, known as "Civil War Tokens" during the shortage of official coinage.
